PIER TO PIER 5K RUN
Come join us for our Annual 5K Pier to Pier Beach Run! We will be running along side our beautiful ocean water. All donations and proceeds will go to the American Lung Society and towards our annual Thanksgiving T.H.OM. event that feeds between 3000 to 4000 guests. Lets encourage our youth and neighbors to become a stronger and healthier community together by supporting one another!
The 5k Pier 2 Pier Beach run
Date: To be announced (Will be held in 2016)
We start at 9am and run on the sand from The Pompano Beach Pier to The Lauderdale by the Sea Pier.
Commercial booths are set up at the start and finish line. Gift bags will be provided to each contestant. First place winner receives $1000 in cash and prize value, 2nd place $500 in cash and prize value and third place $200 in cash and prize value!
Depending upon the amount of contestants we'll determine the groups of runners. You will be running with your peers as a group, for example, children ages 10-15 run with other children and adults ages 50 and above run together etc...
T-shirts will be available for sale for $12 or 2 for $20.
The run benefits the American Lung Association and our Thanksgiving Dinner event,THOM.
